This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
To master CGs you need to master layering, outlining and placing colour. Colour can be done in two ways - airbrushing, or cell style. I work with cell style, but I see you work with airbrushing.
The only difference between them is the hardness with the brush. You need to learn to blend more tones into the skin, slight highlighting, darkening some areas more than most. Use the light source in the picture and distance to teach yourself where highlights and shadows go.
The dodge and burn tools are your friends - but don't over ruse them or it won't look very good.

You can tell when they've been overused easily, it just... looks ugly.
The best way to shade and highlight is to select a shade that's slightly darker or slightly lighter than the base skin colour, then work it on layers on top of it. (Layer > new layer).
